Do The Dead Sleep?

"You can sleep when you're dead." Except if you're religious, you believe your spirit lives on in an ever-awakened state; pretty much the exact opposite of sleep. And if you're atheist, then you believe your body just rots in the ground; also the exact of sleep, which is a rejuvenating state. The longer I live, the more I think sleep is one of the most precious experiences available to us mortals.
